This is an awsome game but I cant get it to play right on my current laptop. It sorta plays speeded up, almost like someones hit the fast-forward button! lol
Still havent figured it out.
thanks for posting the intro!

Anyone else here Kirk screaming “Khaaaaaaaaan!” at 0:44.
Even if they aren’t the right words, I still hear, “Buried alive…”

Is this the same narrator guy from 300/The Deadliest Warrior?

Since it’s a curse word, wouldn’t a more appropriate approximation be “chicken$#!+?” XD

For some reason this narration reminds me of the opening of “300″

I dunno about Deadliest Warrior, but I don’t think Robert O’Reilly plays on 300. O’Reilly plays Chancellor Gowron on TNG and DS9, who is narrating this vid.

what is your problem running the game? most games have patches released with fixes, make sure the game is updated with the latest patch.
if that does not fix it there are many ways to get games to work on newer comps, with a few tricks.

I used Zeckensack’s wonderful and free Glide Wrapper to play the game in XP. The Direct3D support that is added with the one and only patch for the game is very poor. Without the Glide wrapper, you will probably have to use software rendering. The game uses an early version of the Unreal engine (not much different than the one used in the original Unreal.)

Yeah Microprose ain’t doin’ much these days for KHG, so if there were a patch, who still supports it? But that other workaround you mentioned, I’ll have to give that a shot. Thanks!

This video needs better visual parts to it, but I play it on my radio show everyday. It is the message of whats being spoken. Its more, MUCH MORE than a video game to me.
